Summer Ice Program – 2020 Registration Now Open!

Our summer ice program is designed for the Learn to Train, Train to Train and Learn to Compete levels, ages 9 and up. Our program provides skaters with training through the summer months to continue their progress during the off-season.

This program runs on most Mondays tentatively from 4-6pm at RIM Park in Waterloo. Please see our Schedule page for dates, times and locations of ice during the summer. Note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, start dates, ice times, number of sessions and registration costs  are to be confirmed. In general, ice dates and times are always subject to change but will be updated on the Schedule page as required.

Click here to register. Registration due dates will be communicated when ice and costs are established.

Please note that due to space availability, the final selection of participants will be made by the coaches and will be based on skaters’ times, ability and fit with the program. Successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the summer ice program by email from a KWSSSC Coach or Registrar.

Spring Learn to Skate Program

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and based on government guidelines and closures of public rinks, we are forced to cancel our Spring Learn to Skate program. The health and safety of our skaters, members, coaches and parents are paramount to us and we take this health crisis seriously. Watch our website here for details on a future Learn to Skate event when we are able to safely run one.
