 Registration Process

New this year is our electronic form registration process. All members must complete the electronic registration process – paper club registration forms are no longer available. Steps in the registration process are listed below.

 To complete your registration:

1. View the Fee Schedule for information about registration prices for this season.

2. Click on the full season registration link and complete all sections of the registration form (one per skater is required) before hitting submit. This electronic form replaces our previous year paper forms. As part of this electronic form process you will need to:

  • confirm that you have read and agree to the club’s policies posted on our Policies page.
  • confirm that you have read the applicable Ministry Approved Concussion Awareness Resource and complete and hand in the required form confirming that you have reviewed and committed to the applicable OSSA Concussion Code of Conduct. This is pursuant to the aspects of Rowan’s Law that came into effect on Monday, July 1st, 2019.  A link is also provided in the electronic registration form.
  • complete and hand in your applicable OSSA waiver form. A link to the document is also provided in the electronic registration form.

3. Choose your payment method: Email transfer (preferred method), cheque or cash.**

4. Sign up for your bingo shift for the year (one shift per family)

5. Sign up for your practice volunteer role (one role per skater group in your family).

** Email transfers can be made in full to treasurer@kwspeedskating.com (use the security password Speedskating).  Cheque OR cash payments can be brought to our registration night on Wednesday September 4th at 6pm at RIM Park by Lion’s Rink. Please make cheques payable to ‘KW Sertoma Speed Skating Club’.

Remember that ALL registration steps, volunteer signups and payments must be completed prior to the commencement of your practice time.  If you are unable to make our registration night, please come early to your first practice so that all registration components can be completed. Volunteers will be on hand to facilitate this for the first few practices.

NOTE: Email register@kwspeedskating.com before completing your registration form if you are:

  • a student under 25 who is registered full time in a university or college, or
  • a parent with 3 or more skaters enquiring about a family membership.

Special membership fees or discounts may be available to you.

If you require financial assistance, be sure to check out the Canadian Tire JumpStart program and KidSport Ontario Assistance Program for information on how you can apply to these excellent programs we support in our club, or email us for more information on fee assistance.
